Facebook update from Help Anton

Day +68 We have had a fun few days. We got to hang out with Prayers for Cole and his sweet family on Saturday. They brought wings and hung out with us at RMH. We had such a good time with them and Cole is just so adorable! Anton and I stayed home from church on Sunday because he wasn't feeling all that great. He has a junky cough and diarrhea. We went to clinic on Monday. Got a chest x-ray done because Anton's central line has come out a little bit and to make sure he doesn't have pneumonia. His line is still in a good place so as long as we can't see the cuff (part of the central line that holds it inside) he won't have to get a new one. His chest x-ray also showed no signs of pneumonia. His doctor said he might just have a cold but they are running some viral studies and also running some tests on his poo (too much information, I know) to check for c-diff, graft vs host, and a few other things. Anton is getting 6 IV infusions a day at home with the last one ending around 12:30am. I am tired in the mornings but thankful we can do his IV meds at home instead of having to be in the hospital. And I enjoy giving his IV meds, makes me feel like a nurse :) I give Anton his meds six times a day and by the end of the day he has received 33 meds. Anton has woken up in the middle of the night and or early morning because he had to go to the potty the last few days so I'm waking up pretty exhausted. Other than that we are doing great. He is such a trooper and just goes with the flow. - June 02, 2015 at 09:55AM http://ift.tt/1r2lUi4
